Probe committee to investigate chartered flights   

Kathmandu: The government has formed a probe committee to find out truth and facts regarding the complaints about high fare charged with passengers in the name of chartered flight.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation formed the four-member probe committee under coordination of joint-secretary at the Ministry, Suresh Acharya, to investigate about the complaints that travel agencies have been selling tickets taking high charge from passengers, who have got permission to go to Hong Kong and Japan, in chartered flight.

The probe committee has got seven days to submit its report about the matter, reads the press release issued by the Ministry.

“Attention of the Ministry has been drawn towards the complaints of passengers regarding high fare charged by travel agencies via Nepal Airlines Corporation to Hong Kong and Japan”, reads the statement.
