PM Oli reshuffles cabinet; New ministers including three DPMs sworn-in

Kathmandu: Prime Minster KP Oli has reshuffled the Cabinet Friday. The new cabinet has three Deputy Prime Ministers, 12 Ministers and two Ministers of State.    
The newly-appointed deputy prime ministers and ministers took oath of office and secrecy before President Bidya Devi Bhandari amidst a special function at the Office of the President this evening.    
The Prime Minister Oli has kept seven Ministerial portfolios with him. In the new cabinet, only four Ministers remained unchanged. Minister for Finance Bishnu Poudel (who is now upgraded to Deputy Prime Minister), Minister for Education Krishna Gopla Shrestha, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Basnta Nembang and Minister for Law Lilanath Shrestha remained unchanged in the recent reshuffle.    
The newly appointed DPMs in the Cabinet are Bishnu Poudel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Rajendra Mahato, DPM and Minister for Urban Development and Raghubir Mahseth, DPM and Minister for Foreign Affairs.    
Other new ministers appointed are Sher Bahadur Tamang (Minister for Health and Population), Sharat Singh Bhandari (Minister for Energy), Anil Kumar Jha (Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation), Bimal Shreevastav (Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security), Umashankar Agariya (Minister for Forest and Environment), Laxman Lal Karna (Minister for Land Management), Chanda Chaudhary (Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens) and Ekwal Miya (Minister for Youth and Sports).    
Likewise, Chandrakanta Chaudhary has been appointed as the Minister of State for Energy while Renuka Gurung as the Minister of State for Women, Children and Senior Citizens.    
Meanwhile, newly-appointed DPM and Finance Minster Poudel and DPM and Minister for foreign Affairs Mahaseth assumed their offices Friday.
