Calibration flight from November 21 at Pokhara Regional International Airport

Kathmandu: The Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA) will officially come into operation from January 1, 2023.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has approved to Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited to operate calibration flight at Pokhara Regional International Airport from November 21 to 27.  

Thailand's Aerothai company has arrived in Nepal to operate Calibration flight on Sunday, November 13, said the CAAN Information Officer Gyanendra Bhul.

He added, Thai company's special aircraft, Super Kingair B200 will fly in the sky of Pokhara for 7 days out of 11 days and check alignment, lights and equipment. Aero Thai will give a report after completing the Calibration flight. After that, the test flights and commercial flights will be operated, he added.
