PM calls all party meeting Today to discuss border dispute with India


Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called all party meeting Saturday to hold discussion on the disputed border issues with India.

According to PM’s Press Advisor Dr Kundan Aryal, Prime Minister is going to hold meeting with former Prime Ministers, former foreign ministers and senior leaders of various political parties regarding the border issue including Kalapani and Lipulek. Aryal further shared that the Prime Minister called the meeting to resolve the issues through diplomatic channel after holding discussions with various stakeholders.

Protests from student wings of different political parties and experts are on rise against the Indian move that it released new political map placing Nepali territory in its map recently. Earlier, Nepal government, on Wednesday, had clarified its stance that Kalapani is Nepal’s territory.
