Kathmandu: Mountain guide Chatur Tamang, successfully climbed Russia and Europe highest and most prominent peak Mount Elbrus (5,642 meters) for the 121st time.
Tamang informed Corporatenepal, that he had successfully scaled Mount Elbrus at 8am (Russian time) on February 27. He started climbing mountains from 1995, and started climbing Mount Elbrus from 2002.
Tamang's goal is to climb Mount Elbrus 200 times. 'I intend to climb this mountain 20 times more by coming August 2023,' he said. So far, he has climbed Mt.Everest five times, Lhotse twice, Kanchenjunga, Cho Oyo, Manaslu seven times, Ama Dablam three times, Baruntse once, Iceland peak sixteen times and Mera Peak seventeen times.
