Reform begins in three fronts of education sector: Minister Poudel

Galkot : Minister for Education, Science and Technology Devendra Poudel has informed that reform was initiated in three areas of education at once. Physical infrastructures, teaching learning activities and legal and policy fronts of education were undergoing reform, he added.    
 Minister Poudel said it while inaugurating a training on scientific concept for science students and science and technology for journalists here today. The government has aimed at establishing technical schools in each local level and research centre of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) in each province, according to the Minister.    
According to him, the NAST research centre of Gandaki Province would be set up in Baglung.    
The trainings are being organized by BP Koirala Memorial Planetarium Observatory and Science Museum Development Committee.    
Executive Director Dr Sanat Kumar Sharma informed that students from 10 schools, and 25 active journalists were taking part in the training.
