Technical problems in telecom tower obstruct communication services

Simkot: Nepal Telecom services have witnessed technical problems at Adanchuli Rural Municipality, located in the southern belt of Humla district. Locals have been bearing the brunt of recurring troubles in telecom services.
With this, the service recipients are compelled to search network access when the Nepal Telecom tower installed at Soru in bordering Mugu district has remained dysfunctional for long. Suman Budha, a local of Adanchuli-2, shared they were compelled to climb high cliffs and tall trees to access the telecom service as all three towers installed have stopped working from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm for the past couple of months.
Last year too, the same problem had occurred in the telecom service so maintenance was carried out in all the towers to resume the services. But this year the Telecom has remained apathetic towards fixing the problem, said Nara Bahadur Bogati, security guard of the Telecom tower based in Adanchuli-2, Dogarna. The technical issue is recurring in the area almost every year.
According to the Nepal Telecom, the problem has surfaced in network due to its ongoing works of expanding 4G service from the tower based in Soru of Soru rural municipality. The particular area of Humla has witnessed such problems in telecommunication services for the past four years.
It has troubled the folks to exchange festive greetings during grand festivals of Nepali, Budha complained.
