Movement of public, private vehicles restricted from 8:00 pm

Kathmandu: The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has restricted the movement of public and private vehicles from 8:00 pm onward in Kathmandu Valley to be implemented from August 12.    
A notice issued today by Chief District Officer, Kali Prasad Parajuli, mentioned that the movement of vehicles during night hour in Kathmandu Valley has been made strict due to increasing cases of COVID-19 infection.    
However, vehicles for essential services could be operated at any time, reads the notice.    
Similarly, the prohibitory order has been extended till August 24.
