One more week of prohibitory order in capital, with few changes

Kathmandu: The prohibitory in effect in Kathmandu valley has been extended by a week. The decision was taken jointly by the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur.    
    
The prohibitory order that was in effect since August 19 was supposed to expire this midnight. But now it will remain in effect until September 9 midnight.    
    
The DAOs however decided to allow grocery shops to open until 11:00 am in the morning, extending it by two hours. It was applicable for until 9:15 am. Likewise, shops selling construction materials and vehicles carrying such goods will be allowed to operate from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm every day.    
    
Furthermore, online service has been resumed with the individuals involved in delivering take away goods required to produce a PCR negative report. Home delivery will begin after the introducing a standards for the same.    
    
Likewise, those coming to Kathmandu for essential work need to produce a PCR negative report. And anyone giving swab sample for testing must stay in quarantine until the report is received. Vehicle transportation shall be arranged for those flying out of the country with a valid passport, VISA and confirmed tickets to reach to the airport.
