Kathmandu: Bahrain has expressed its readiness to amend the labour agreement signed with Nepal.
During a courtesy call meeting with Minister for Labour, Employment and social security Gokarna Bista at the Ministry here Tuesday, Bahrain’s non-residential ambassador to Nepal Md. Ahmed, All Gaud said that the Bahrain was ready to amend the pact for the betterment, security and welfare of Nepali migrant workers. The Envoy on the occasion said the Nepali employees are honest and hardworking, therefore rising demand more workers from Nepal.
Responding to a quarry, Minister Bista shared that the pact should be amended to make it time compatible for the security of Nepali migrant workers. He further shared that Nepal was ready to increase workers to Bahrain, said Ministry spokesperson Narayan Regmi.
